As president of the Preferred Utilities Manufacturing Corporation, Redding, CT’s David Bohn guides a company that is responsible for producing a range of specialized equipment for energy production plants. Apart from his work David Bohn and his company are members of the Council of Industrial Boiler Owners (CIBO).
This year, CIBO will launch its inaugural Energy and Environmental Management & Best Practices Conference, a first-of-its-kind meeting that will take on the issues surrounding the implementation of sustainability initiatives on the institutional and corporate levels. The conference will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn in Arlington, Virginia on September 11-12, 2018. Some of the specific energy initiatives that will be discussed at the meeting include distributed energy, microgrids, and how to properly implement ISO 14001, ISO 14047, and ISO 50001 standards.
