Children's Educational Opportunity Foundation Supports Students

Now president of Preferred Utilities Manufacturing Corporation, David Bohn of Redding, CT, has served in various positions since he first joined the company's sales department more than three decades ago. Alongside his work in energy-efficient products, Redding’s David Bohn supports local nonprofits such as the Children's Educational Opportunity Foundation of CT.

Founded to provide equal education opportunities for children from low-income families, the Children's Educational Opportunity Foundation, or CEO, remains dedicated to helping all elementary school students receive a good education. The foundation supplies Connecticut students with as many as 400 scholarships each year, worth a total of $800,000.
A registered nonprofit, CEO relies on generous donors to fund its scholarships. All contributions are tax-deductible. It requires only $2,100 to fund a year of school for a student.
